Peer Reviewer Process
All authors submitting manuscripts to Manisha: Journal of Education and Social Sciences are required to complete a Statement of Ethical Compliance provided by the journal. This document can be downloaded from the journal's official website and serves as a declaration that authors agree to comply with ethical standards in scholarly publishing. The document is not a manuscript template; therefore, all submitted manuscripts must still follow the journal's Author Guidelines.
The editorial process begins with an initial screening conducted by the editorial team. At this stage, manuscripts are evaluated for compliance with journal requirements, including formatting, completeness of submission documents, plagiarism screening, and alignment with the journal's focus and scope in education and social sciences.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening process will proceed to the peer review stage.
Manisha: Journal of Education and Social Sciences applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure an objective, fair, and unbiased evaluation process.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers based on the following criteria:
- Originality, novelty, and contribution to the fields of education and/or social sciences.
- Appropriateness and clarity of research methodology, theoretical framework, or analytical approach.
- Coherence, organization, and clarity of manuscript presentation.
- Relevance to the aims, focus, and scope of the journal.
Based on reviewers' recommendations and editorial evaluation, the editorial board will make a final decision regarding the manuscript:
- Accepted
- Accepted with minor revisions
- Accepted with major revisions
- Rejected
Authors who are requested to revise their manuscripts must submit the revised version within the specified timeframe, accompanied by a detailed point-by-point response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed.
